Children’s Center at Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento is a comprehensive children’s “hospital-within-a-hospital” that offers on-site 24-hour pediatric and neonatal critical care physicians. We provide a patient and family-centered care approach, more than 50 board-certified subspecialists and a full medical transport team.

Center of Excellence
Children’s Center at Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento is nationally recognized as a center for excellence by the National Association of Children’s Hospitals and Related Institutions (NACHRI) for its outstanding care for children. Additionally, Children’s Center is approved by California Children’s Services (CCS) and is the only non-university facility in Northern California granted associate membership with the California Children's Hospital Association (CCHA).

For general pediatric services, children receive care through our regional hospitals: Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital and Sutter Roseville Medical Center.

Rosie Carollo spent her first Easter hospitalized at the Children's Center at Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento.

Rosie, then just 10 months old, had been in and out of Sutter Memorial Hospital for about five months due to a devastating form of epilepsy.
